Cuda are a great fish to target when the fish schools aren’t running or when you want a guaranteed catch during slow days. Barracuda usually just show up under a boat in the open ocean without baiting the water. They love structure and are the raw definition of an opportunistic fish species. Some barracuda find themselves as residents by docks where the fillet table is and live solely off of the fish heads and trimmings that are tossed in the water. All you really need to do when targeting these fish is present your bait correctly and in nearly five minutes you will have a hookup. Check out Josh at BlacktipH head just offshore in South Florida and hook up with some monster cudas without much effort at all. To find the cudas just locate a reef, natural or artificial, and toss over some nicely presented baits to get the action started. Simple.
